- I'm a graduate student in anthropology (physical emphasis).
- I tend to be as active in fandom (primarily Harry Potter, although I've recently become utterly obsessed with Tin Man) as grad school will permit.
- If you're not interested in academia in general, anthropology in specific, or fandom babble, you'll be quite bored here. Or perhaps shocked and appalled. That's always a distinct possibility.
About the contents of this journal:
- Because SixApart have proven themselves to be Big Furry Asshats of the highest order, I've moved most of my fannish activity off LJ. If you're here looking for that content, I present you with a couple of options:
- I am  r_grayjoy on InsaneJournal. I post both fannish and 'real life' content there.
- If you couldn't care less about my adventures with academia or what I did last weekend, and are only here for the fic, I keep a fic journal on IJ: violent_gray and LJ: ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) violentgray.
- I also have a Skyehawke archive here.
- While I'm still using this LJ for some things, I consider IJ to be my primary journal, and encourage friending there rather than here, particularly if you've found me through our mututal fandom activities.
- If you're a person who knows me in 'real life' and you just happen to have stumbled across this journal, be aware that I adhere to the principle of Caveat Lector in every possible sense! I give you fair warning that you might find the contents of my various journals to be a bit... strange. Adult materials are clearly marked as such.
